Vancouver Sun Reports: Pattinson Trumps In VF Poll

The Vancouver Sun recently posted a funny article on Robert Pattinson and his fans:

"VANCOUVER — Oh you wacky RPattz fans, you're at it again. Don't think we didn't notice.
This time, Rob's legions are headed toward Vanity Fair to show the true faith. Less than a month before Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner unleash The Twilight Saga: New Moon on an adoring public VF has thrust a poll on the public comparing the vivacious vampire with, what's this — Leonardo DiCaprio!

Can you say invidious?

Leo, as you may recall, went through his hunkiest phase in James Cameron's super-expensive Oscar winner Titanic. He was, what's the word, really cute. He and Kate Winslet were adorable as the star-crossed couple and DiCaprio definitely got down with his role as he sank beneath the coolish waves of the North Atlantic.

But since then DiCaprio has outgrown cute and become one of Hollywood's finest actors. Think The Departed and Blood Diamond, among others.

And Pattinson? He's provided Twilight with some needed star-power juice, sure. But he's got a way to grow into Leo's league as an actor.

To be fair, the VF poll doesn't ask who's the more thorough thespian. It's asking whose craze was the craziest. DiCaprio in the '90s or Pattinson in the present.

Well, in these things the current always beats the historical. Especially when the current lad is combing the world to promote the phenom that will doubtlessly be New Moon.

No doubt that naughty Vanity Fair is just latching on to "craze" surrounding the upcoming flick.
We would never do that, would we?

By the way, at last glance RPattz was leading Leo in the poll, 89 per cent to 11 per cent.
My guess is the Pattinson hordes will tip that lead ever further. Check the poll out on the VF website."
